Without grounding in compassion, lovingkindness, sympathetic joyous wonder, and equanimity... what seems to be awakening is a trap! This is what Vajrayana masters call "Vajra Hell."
Nothing exists. Nothing matters. Yet, there is dukkha! This view actually shuts you off from liberation.... sometimes for ages!
The key to cessation of suffering is your parents.... all sentient beings! Loving your neighbor as your self is liberation in one!

I personally feel like the free flow of information is critical right now. Being that a lot of you are in the healthcare field, I wanted to share this website with you. I keep seeing and hearing across significant chunks of social media (Twitter/X, Facebook, TikTok, etc) that information from the CDC and other agencies in the U.S. government is becoming difficult to find or even being removed in some cases especially on vaccines. I’m honestly hoping that’s just temporary or not as significant as they’re saying, but part of me feels like it isn’t an accident or part of a transition. Here’s our Public Health of Canada website if you’re looking for information to share with your patients or even just information for yourself. As of right now, Canada follows the CDC on a lot of recommendations. This will likely change if the U.S. goes in a “different” direction. Something I never expected happened today. We had a house fire started near the chimney that was either caused by the chimney or something electrical. We live 10-15 minutes from the fire department and they got there quickly. We are safe and I am well insured so I feel grateful that this wasn’t worse. I’ll share a few pictures of the damage. It’s a yucky mess and I have an excellent restoration company who arrived about an hour after the fire! Again, I feel grateful and lucky that our house can be repaired.
