Thinking about the "Original Sin" of the Bible:
After the beginning in which God declared at the end of each step "it is good," humanity was incapable of choice and error.
There was nothing further that could be done to complete the creation until the Adam made a choice to continue. The "Tree of Knowing Good and Bad" was given for the Adam with the warning that death would come with that, but just like a god, the Adam would have every choice and responsibility for that choice going forward.
Sin is just another way of saying that a bad choice was made, but the original choice is choice itself.
We all consented to be born into dangerous freedom.
Isn't it odd. I had to quickly make the kitchen a bit welcoming so whapped a cloth on the table and got flowers from the garden. Accidentally got transported straight here! @RisaD the cows made me think you (😂😂😂because Risa like Highland Cows!!!!) the roses made me think of @RoseyT and the whole day made me think of @ashleystuart94 - I hope you got flowers and all sorts of nice things this week ❤️
I took a several-month break to work through some sh*t and reconnect with myself, but have missed hanging out here!
During that time I officially became an empty nester, expanded my circle of care, walked SOOOOOOOOOO much, and slept better than I have in years.
How’s everyone been? What’s new in your world? I’d love to hear, weigh in in the comments 👇
