We hiked up here yesterday and were met with pure insane amazment 🤯 Near Nagano, these are the famous monkeys that bathe in hot springs during the winter (you may have seen the Nat Geo images). But in summer, the place is totally crazy in a different way…and there’s geysers too!
Mrs. DoggMD and I hiked up to the top of a crazy temple and cemetery called Otani Sobyo above Kyoto this morning. Pure madness 🔥 and HELLLA G-HOSTS!

It's New Term season all over isn't it and that's why I'm not joining the Supporters Zoom now - I'm fathoming out a large timetable and a map with my son. It's also the root of the only news I might have for you ...this week, as all the High Schools started I found myself looking at their crests and mottos and I thought of my old High Schools Motto - Absque Labore Nihil - Nothing achieved without effort. All my life I thought it was saying you had to work hard, to strive, to seek. But now I look again at that old Eagle sitting on his crest - Nothing achieved without effort - The whole unspeakable no thing of eternal everything achieved effortlessly. No seeking, no searching, absque labore. He was right wasn't he! We just didn't understand what he meant.
